EVIDENCE BEFORE COMMITMENT

Ask for evidence. Agree a specification.

Review the evidence and documents that matter to your order. Required certifications need current, verifiable copies covering the relevant establishment and activity before agreement.

Measurable product requirements

Start with variety, size, maturity or cut format, acceptable defects and net pack weight. Define sampling, inspection timing and how results are recorded. General images should not be the only criterion, and export grade alone does not identify measurable quality. For factory use add a trial result that shows recipe compatibility.

Lot-linked reports

Check lot code, sampling date, laboratory, method, acceptance limits and report scope. Lot references should agree across packs, reports and relevant documents. Your quality team determines suitable tests for the application and market. Confirm sample representativeness and the process for ingredient changes after approval.

Verifiable facility certification

If your buyer requires GlobalG.A.P., BRCGS, ISO or another scheme, request the complete current document and review establishment, activity and issuer. These are examples of buyer requirements, not claimed Ghaith certifications. Distinguish farm, processing and packhouse certification and verify scope using the issuer’s verification process.

Shipment documents and receiving plan

Invoices, packing lists, transport documents and origin or phytosanitary certificates where applicable serve different purposes. The importer and broker review the product and country checklist before shipment. At receipt match names, weights, references and pack condition, then follow the agreed temperature recording, inspection and notification plan.
